Should I Upload All Pages of My Minor Child Passport for Oci Online Application

Hi

Looking for list of documents for OCI application for new built-in, both parent are ILR holders.
The list on vfs site is disruptive. So wanted to know the list from a parent who practical recently and got it.

The listing is pretty clear. I've distilled it below:

1. Printed Awarding form: All applicants need to make full the online application form on the website https://ociservices.gov.in - Brand sure both you and your spouse sign this form.
2. Printed & signed copy of the announcement form (to be attached with each application) https://www.vfsglobal.com/bharat/uk/pdf/ ... taking.pdf
3. two photographs as per the photo specifications – please ensure the photo & signature specifications are strictly followed, application may not be accepted if the specifications are non met completely. Please visit the 'photograph specifications' tab above for more details
4. Foreign Passport Copy (which should be valid for more than 6 months)
five. Both parent'south passport copy in case of a modest applicant. In instance if the parents are holding Indian passport then photocopies of the Bio Page (photo folio), terminal page with the address & UK visa page should as well exist provided.
6. Marriage certificate of parents
7. Original consent letter signed past both parent's (confirming they would like for their child to accept an OCI based on their Indian Origin or child'southward Indian Origin, carve up alphabetic character for each kid), addressed to Loftier Commission of India or its respective Consulates in Birmingham or Edinburgh, in case of minor children.
8. Address proof - issued past the UK government such as a commuter's licence.

Notes:
1. Make sure you make the photos and have a digital copy ready before applying.
2. All photocopies need to exist self-attested.
3. Applicants are required to submit the originals along with a set of photocopies of the originals, both sets of documents need to be submitted at the counter.
4. Signatures should be in the box provided. Children below five years of historic period should place the thumb impression (of left manus in case of girl and of right hand in case of boy) and children above 5 years of age should write their name or sign. Signature/thumb impression of the child bidder is likewise required on the announcement on Part B of the application course (two page).
5. For your spouse'southward passport and visa copy, brand certain she/he cocky-attest'south them (ie not yous). Other documents are adequate to be attested by the parent making the submission.
6. In instance of minor children, both the parents need to exist signed in part 'B' or parent's consent letter is mandatory (if divorced) or court order having custody of children. You are right. It's very confusing for me also. I still don't understand why they brand simple things and then much complicated. Thank you xebec for distilling the documents required.

Another related question. I am planning to walk-in without an appointment. Would any one know how much time it may take to complete the submission procedure ? I heard walk-in service is bachelor at both Hounslow and Goswell road which i is better ? thankyou.

Who should sign this? Applicant is a pocket-size less than 6 calendar month old. Should parent sign this or small's thumb impression ?

On Role B, the declaration folio, there is one section for Bidder and below that for minor applicant.
Do pocket-size applicant place the thumb impression on both these places ? Or should the parent sign the top department and small-scale thumb impression in only the small-scale'due south department ?

Should the supporting scanned documents be cocky-attested before its uploaded, for the oci online application please ? Applicant is one yr old.

Besides there is a question regarding 'previous nationality' of the applicant. The child practical directly for UK citizenship subsequently parent got ILR, and therefore did non take an Indian passport. Should I fill up in this question at all, please ?

I could not find this info on here. Any assist is much appreciated. Many Thanks.
